Jakeb Knight is an enthusiastic educator with a passion for making learning fun! Born and raised in Ohio, Jakeb comes from a lively family of five, with an older sister and a younger brother. From an early age, he was involved in musicals and music, which sparked his love for creativity and expression.

 

Jakeb's teaching journey took him all the way to Australia, where he spent six exciting months as a student teacher! After returning to the U.S., he taught 5th-grade math and science in southern Ohio for five years, inspiring young minds with engaging lessons and positive energy. In 2023, Jakeb made a big move to San Diego to teach math for middle schoolers.

 

When he's not in the classroom, Jakeb loves to unwind with his favorite TV shows (ask him anything about The Office), spend time with his golden retriever, Flynn, and enjoy delicious tacos with friends. He is also an active churchgoer who values the connections and camaraderie it brings.

 

Jakeb is thrilled to be part of Elevate, where he aims to create a welcoming and fun environment that encourages students to explore, learn, and grow!
