Ms. Ashby was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. After graduating from the University of Nebraska in 2016, she began her teaching career in Colorado as a corps member of Teach for America. She has taught middle school math, developed curriculum for middle and high school math classes, and worked developing state standardized test questions and scoring standards.

 

In her free time, she enjoys taking her dogs for hikes, laying by the beach, singing and playing instruments, learning new arts and crafts, and spending time with friends and family. She is honored to be a member of Elevate’s teaching staff since 2023.
