About

Mrs. Torres was born and raised in California where she graduated from California State University Fullerton, with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish. She began working as a bilingual assistant in 2019 where she helped English Language learners meet academic language goals. In 2021 she earned her Multiple subject credential from California State TEACH and began teaching 7th grade in a dual immersion school. She worked as a 7th grade Spanish teacher from 2021-2024 where she taught Spanish Language Arts, Science, medical detectives (PLTW), and art. 

 

During her free time, Mrs.Torres enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and trying new restaurants. She also loves spending time with her family and taking her dog on walks. She is excited to be a part of Elevate!
