Sara Kazmierski was born in Southern California but was raised in the Midwest. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2004 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Italian. She earned her Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2009. She is in her 16th year of teaching!

“Mrs. K” is married and has two awesome little boys (ages 9 & 5) and a dog, Rudy. In 2016, after twelve years of teaching in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mrs. K moved to San Diego with her family and started teaching at Elevate. She’s so excited to be living in her favorite city, living close to family, the ocean, mountains and year-round beautiful weather. She loves spending time with her family, taking her kids on fun adventures, reading, exercising, and traveling.
