About

Victoria Otero was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She graduated in 2010 from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a double minor in Science and Teaching English as a Second Language. She received her Masters of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Literacy from San Diego State University. Ms. Otero comes from a family of educators and brings 14 years of teaching experience to Elevate. In those 14 years, she has taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade.

In 2015, Ms. Otero moved to San Diego with her two children. Aside from her passion for teaching, Ms. Otero also enjoys dancing, training Brazilian JiuJitsu, and spending time with her family and friends.
