Dear Elevate Families,

What an exciting and joyful week this has been as we kicked off a new school year together! Our team has loved meeting our new students and welcoming back our returners. It is clear already that this is going to be a special year!

Across every campus and grade, we’ve seen our students shine as they transitioned into their new classroom. Our school team spent this first week getting to know our students, orienting them to the classroom, introducing our 7 Habits, and building classroom and campus community.

As I’ve visited our campuses this week, I’ve been so impressed already by the many ways that our students, staff, and family members have modeled core elements of our school vision and mission.

Our Vision:
We envision a kind, collaborative, and just world guided by empathetic and innovative leaders.

Our Mission:
Elevate School cultivates leaders and positive change-makers by inspiring students to be excellent in academics, exceptional in leadership, expansive in creativity, and engaged in community.

Even in our first days, students showed kindness in welcoming new students and are already collaborating in the classroom. School staff worked hard to get ready and model innovation and empathy on an hourly basis as they created the conditions for each student to learn and thrive. Elevate families engaged in Monday’s Orientations and also our Kindergarten Coffee on Tuesday.

It takes all of us to make Elevate a great place for every student - Elevate rises as One!

Thank you, families, for your support and partnership in making this a great start to the school year. We know that starting new routines and adjusting to a new school year takes a lot of effort for families, and we want you to know how much we appreciate you.

We look forward to partnering with you throughout the year. A great opportunity to get a lot of helpful information and connect with our team is Back-to-School Night, which is happening next week on Tuesday, August 19th and Wednesday, August 20th. Please see the newsletter below for more information about this important night. Our whole team hopes to see you there!

In Partnership,
Ryan Elliott
Executive Director
