Supporting Students at the SM Campus
alt_text

Every day I come to school excited to work with students who are eager to learn and eager to lead. I am also very lucky to be able to work closely with some other members of our school: the flexible, hard-working support teachers on the Serra Mesa campus! If you haven’t had the opportunity to meet them yet, the team includes Monica Farin, Julayne Kilcullen, Kayla Moulton, Martha Guillen, Shari Scott, Breannah McCann, and Lalito Gonzalez.

Our support staff works hard in and out of the classrooms of Elevate. In classrooms they help reduce the student to teacher ratio and allow teachers to structure more small-group learning opportunities. We also strategically use these staff members to run targeted small group interventions in reading and math. At other times, you can find the support staff supervising the eating area and the playground, and they are the smiling faces that you likely see at arrival and dismissal.

The support team is a valuable asset to our school. We look forward to partnering with you to ensure that Elevate students reach their full potential at school. If you have any questions regarding our amazing staff, feel free to reach out to me.
Michael Kazmierski (Mr. K)
Dean of Students
Serra Mesa Campus
