A Stellar Support Team: Modeling the 8 Habits Every Day |
|
|
At Elevate Middle School, our support team truly shines as a model of what it means to live and model the 8 Habits. Whether they’re greeting students with a smile, helping a class or small group run smoothly, offering encouragement during a tough moment, or recognizing a problem and brainstorming ways to solve it, this incredible group of professionals demonstrates leadership and teamwork in action.
They Begin with the End in Mind by focusing on creating a positive, safe, and welcoming environment for every student from the first moment they arrive on campus until the moment they leave campus at the end of the day. They Put First Things First by prioritizing positive relationships and consistent support, ensuring students know they are seen and valued. Working together, they embody Think Win-Win, collaborating with the rest of the staff to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
EMS’s Stellar Support Team has innumerable responsibilities throughout the week, and through it all they show heart, dedication, and a commitment to leading by example. They are a joy to work with, and I love that they are part of our Elevate Family. Our team includes Ms. Alana, Mr. Jordan, Mr. Taylor, Mr. Drew, and school-wide substitute teacher, Mr. Liang.
When we combine our strengths, we can accomplish amazing things! This is what Synergy is all about, and our middle school would not be the same without the synergy of our support staff. We are SO FORTUNATE to have them on the Elevate Team!

  Dear Elevate Families,
We’ve recently learned that some families may be receiving duplicate or outdated calendar items. This is likely because some are still subscribed to a combined calendar that is no longer in use. To ensure you only receive the most relevant updates (like School-wide Events or ELOP), please follow these steps to unsubscribe from the old calendar and re-subscribe to the one you need: Calendar Subscription Tips for Families

A Wildly Important Goal (W.I.G.) is something that we work toward, because we know that the results will have a significantly positive impact on our lives, now and in the future. Our students are learning that beginning with the end in mind is one important habit that will help them feel successful and believe in themselves.
For 2025-26, our school-wide W.I.G. is that Elevate Students will S T R E T C H their growth in ELA and math by increasing how many students are reaching their s t r e t c h growth goals on their iReady Diagnostics by the end of the year.
A stretch growth goal is the target identified for each individual student that will help them move beyond their baseline expectations. At Elevate we believe in excellence and justice, therefore we aim to give all of our students every opportunity to reach their fullest potential.
To reach our stretch growth goals we will focus on consistently using two BRILLIANT strategies in our classrooms, Close Reading and Accountable Talk. Ask your children how they use these strategies at school.Thank you for supporting your children’s academic growth at home every day! |
