First Grade Global Adventures!
alt_text

Our first graders have been busy traveling around the world with Globe Trot Scott, exploring new places, discovering unique celebrations, and learning about the many cultures, customs, and family holiday traditions that make our world so vibrant. From special celebrations to festive family traditions, students have been curious and excited to understand how people live, celebrate, and share meaningful moments around the globe.

Along the way, we’ve also been diving deep into our essential question: “In what ways can we use service, kindness, and leadership to make a difference in our community, and how can we show our appreciation to the people who help us?” Our young leaders have been showing big hearts and thoughtful insights as they explore what it means to make a positive impact.

Wishing all of our families a wonderful winter break and a joyful New Year! Enjoy the celebrations, family traditions, and time together—we can’t wait to see everyone again in January for more learning adventures!

HABIT OF THE WEEK
alt_text
"The essence of this habit is that you will find your voice when you can say you are 100% involved with what you are doing in your life, so that your body, mind, heart and spirit are all engaged in whatever is important to you. When you have found your voice, you can begin inspiring others to do the same!

The most important work you do in the world will be within the walls of your own home.

The greatest and most inspiring mountain climbing achievements in history are not so much stories of individual achievement, but are stories of the extraordinary power of a unified, talented, prepared team that stays loyally committed to one another and to their shared vision to the end.”

—Stephen R. Covey
