Our two third grade classes have been busy cooking up something special!

Together with their teachers, Ms. Otero and Mrs. Barnard, our third graders have created a community cookbook filled with over 50 family recipes representing the diverse cultures and traditions of our school community.

Inside, you’ll find student favorites like Banana Bread, Chocolate Lava Cake, Haluski (Polish comfort food), Vietnamese Pho Ga, Enchiladas, and Shiro (an Ethiopian stew) just to name a few. Plus, special contributions from staff include Meatloaf à la Mr. K (Serra Mesa Dean of Students), Dutch Pancakes by Mrs. Wooden (Assistant Director), and Swedish Meatballs by Coach Bray.

Don’t miss out—order your cookbook today and support our third graders while making a difference, one recipe at a time!
